After breakfast, your Egyptologist guide takes you on a journey through Egypt’s architectural evolution. Begin at Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s first pyramid, designed by the legendary architect Imhotep. Explore the complex and learn how it paved the way for Giza’s monumental pyramids.

Next, visit the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure. Stand in awe of these colossal structures and the Great Sphinx, the mythical guardian of the plateau.

Conclude your day at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a state-of-the-art museum on the Giza Plateau. Marvel at colossal statues, ascend the grand staircase lined with kings, and explore Tutankhamun’s complete treasure collection on display together for the first time in history. Return to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight.

After breakfast, explore Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church and Church of Abu Serga, sites linked to the Holy Family. Visit the Coptic Museum to see rare Christian artifacts, manuscripts, and religious relics.

Continue to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) to journey through Egypt’s history from prehistoric times to modern day, including the Royal Mummies Hall.

In the evening, board your sleeper train to Luxor. Dinner is served onboard, offering a comfortable overnight journey along the Nile.

See its symmetrical design, detailed carvings, and visit the nearby Crocodile Museum with mummified crocodiles and insights into ancient rituals. Return to the cruise for dinner as it sails toward Aswan.

Arrive in Cairo and transfer to your hotel. The afternoon is free to relax or join an optional tour of Islamic Cairo, including the Citadel of Salah El-Din, Muhammad Ali Mosque, Sultan Hassan Mosque, and Al-Rifa’i Mosque, ending at the Khan El Khalili Bazaar for shopping and exploration.
